happy new year! 2013!

argh 2013 is here! and let's hope we all have a great one!

new year's eve celebrations?

i had a lovely new year's eve, me my mum & my sister all went to town & i got myself a bargain dress from new look to wear on the night, which i'll include in my next post. mother bought party food & cava & we all dressed up (even dad!) to have our little "party". we got a phone call from good friend's of ours & had a lovely buffet meal. we then sat and watched bridget jones's diary (dad went for a shower at this point) then switched to watch the new year live at london! we did the countdown and as i was the only one with any drink left i did a toast to 2012 & made a wish :) the fireworks were spectacular & london did britain proud!

new year's resolutions?

- have a diary & stick to it! i've always wanted to do a proper diary & thought i'd give it a go!
- be helpful around the house & do more to help my family
- take more pictures so i have lots of memories!
- keep things organised & my room tidy
- get fit
- be a good friend & try to be nice & friends with everyone
- grow my hair
- have my own style

upcoming in 2013?

i don't have many plans for 2013 so far but my birthday will be coming up so i'll have to think of a way to celebrate it! next year my mum has said we could be able to go to alton towers, but as that's pretty expensive i'll probably not do much this year. we also will be taking a trip to the harry potter studio tours in leavsden, london which i am honestly so excited for! we're hoping to go sometime around easter.

what i've been up to..

i'll admit i'm a pretty boring person who never really does very much but i thought i'd fill you in on what i have been doing...

christmas day: christmas day was lovely as always, i got nearly everything i wanted & more! i spent it with my mum, dad, sister who was home from uni, & my grandparents & uncle on my mum's side (all my closest family). christmas dinner was the best bit! we watched tangled (i recommend if you haven't seen, awesome family film), doctor who (not the best but alright) & the royle family (no comment). it was a great day  & i'm sad it's all over now!

boxing day-today(30th)- as i've bearly done anything since christmas i thought i'd do this all in one! so after christmas we've pretty much just chilled round the house! we went for a nice lunch at a nearby cafe & today we went down south to see my family on my dad's side. good fun! we've also been watching the lord of the rings trilogy all the way through- we have the extended versions so they last for HOURS! hopefully going to town & to see the hobbit at some point this week :)

my name's ellie. i am a huge fan of harry potter (i'm ravenclaw), and i also love doctor who and lord of the rings...call me a nerd because i am. haha! i'm also a big fan of food...i love anything italian! though i won't say no to a nice indian! i would love to be a writer when i grow up, or an actress, but if i had a nice house and husband and family i would be happy! i own 2 cats who i've had for 10 years and i love them lots even though they're obese and annoying! winter is my favourite season because of christmas, though i like the summer holidays! my favourite bands are one direction, onerepublic & coldplay. i'm in love with daniel radcliffe, tom felton, matt smith & daniel craig, and i have big girlcrushes on emma watson, karen gillan & helena bonham carter. i'm also in love with the fictional characters draco malfoy, will from divergent and flynn rider from tangled! don't judge me... i cry at pretty much everything cos i'm pretty sensitive. i'm the least sporty person you could meet - i eat loads but for some reason don't put on weight! my favourite films are ofc all of HP & LOTR but also terry pratchett's going postal, the hunger games, skyfall & titanic. i have a keyboard & i like to sing though i'm pretty terrible at both! i always fancy the wrong people, i have no piercings and my hair is stuck at the same length forever -_- i couldn't survive without my laptop or books. so yeah: that's me! i tried to make this nice and square but its not quite long enough so whgwhaeogwoeghwiujgudgjbajfiwsghiaqwnmdt
